Let me Dai
In the blue sky.
For it is the all-seeing eye
Into my suffering.
Revealing only truth
That mere mortals
Stand in awe of.
Dumbfounded by their own naivety.
Swallow my soul, oh, dark Heavens.
For a fate much crueler than that
Lies waiting for me
In this forsaken land.
Hear me, oh, elegant Stars.
That burn with a fury
That man cannot ever touch.
But dreams to.
Still fervently, I too dream
Of burning in those Stars.
Swallow me whole, I beg.
Please…
Remove me
From existence,
Into existence,
That be true to my heart.
For I burn far hotter
Than this shell.
Which contains this
Incubating soul.
